Our Services

Lessons are about learning the basic fundamentals of horsemanship both on the ground and on the horse. Students will learn basic grooming skills and basics of riding in the foundation of dressage that will allow students to pursue a career in any discipline.

We do ask for at least a 24 hour in advance cancelation notice. If this notice is not received we do require a $20 no show fee. If students are more than 15 minutes late, the lesson will be canceled and the no show fee applied.

Whether you're heading to your first schooling show or a rated competition, we'll make sure you and your horse walk into the ring prepared and confident. We work with each rider on their tests or courses, ring etiquette, and the little details that make show day go smoothly.

Our show prep includes coaching at home leading up to the event, help with entries and scheduling, and support at the show itself. Many of our clients compete toward the North Carolina Dressage and Combined Training Year-End Awards, and we're proud to be in their corner every step of the way

Training at RPF SportHorses consists of 5 to 6 days a week. One of those days being reserved for a ride around the farm or a trip off the farm, something relaxing.

Horses are treated on an individual basis, as they learn at different rates.

RPF accepts all breeds in the barn as they are all capable. We focus on a solid dressage foundation with the horse as it helps horses excel in western, saddle seat, hunters, even trail riding. We believe ONLY in positive reinforcement as our training method. Horses are required to come with their own tack!

Pricing starting at $900 per month

Our summer camps are a wonderful introduction to horsemanship for young riders. Campers spend the week learning how to safely groom, tack, and care for horses, along with riding lessons built around the fundamentals of dressage and a whole lot of fun.

Camps are designed for riders of all experience levels - from those sitting on a horse for the very first time to students looking to sharpen their skills over the summer. Spots are limited so each camper gets plenty of individual attention. Contact us for dates and availability.

From time to time we have quality sport horses available for sale, and we also help match our clients with the right partner when they're ready to find one. Every horse that comes through our program is brought along thoughtfully, with a solid foundation and a focus on temperament.
