Getting started
How long does setup take?+
Minutes. You create your barn, get an owner account instantly, then add your branding, services, and team whenever you like. There are no setup calls or migrations.
Do I need a separate website?+
No — every plan includes a branded marketing website with your own services, team, gallery, events, and a contact form, at your own address.
Can my clients and staff have logins?+
Yes. Clients (riders and households) sign up on your site to book and pay. You can promote staff to trainers, who manage the schedule, or to co-owners.
Plans & billing
Which plan should I pick?+
Start on Barn Essentials (free to begin) if you mainly need a website, scheduling, and payments. Move to Barn Business for full finance tooling — recurring billing, statements, reminders, and reporting. Choose Barn Shows if you host schooling shows or clinics.
Can I change plans later?+
Yes — upgrade or downgrade anytime from your dashboard. Your data and settings are never deleted when you switch; higher-tier tools simply hide until you upgrade again.
What does it cost?+
You start free on Essentials and only pay when you upgrade for more advanced tools. We're finalizing plans during early access — get in touch and we'll walk you through what fits your barn.
Payments & money
How do payments work?+
Connect your own Stripe account to accept card and ACH payments directly. You can also record cash, check, Venmo, and PayPal. Every payment produces a numbered receipt automatically.
Where does the money go?+
Straight to you. Client payments run through your own connected Stripe account — the platform never holds your funds.
Can I bill for boarding and training automatically?+
On Barn Business, yes. Set up recurring charges for board, training, leases, and add-ons, and they post to each client's account on schedule — with invoices, statements, reminders, and late fees.
Your data & clients
Is my data mine?+
Always. You can export your records to CSV on any plan — that is never gated behind an upgrade.
How do waivers work?+
Create liability waivers and required forms; clients sign them digitally, per rider, before they can book. Signed copies are stored and printable.
Is it secure?+
Each barn's data is isolated, and access is role-based (owner, trainer, client). Security and waiver storage are included on every plan.
Shows
Can I host horse shows?+
On Barn Shows, yes. Set up a show with classes, divisions, and fees; competitors from any barn register and pay online; then you manage entries and check them in on show day.
Do you handle scoring and results?+
Not yet — the current Show Office covers registration, documents, payment, and check-in. Show-day scoring and results are a separate, future capability.
